I originally booked this marathon with a personal aim to complete one before I turned 30. I needed a goal set as it seems I have continued to over-indulge since my wedding and honeymoon period last August. So, I thought let's go for the big one and tick a bucket list achievement off, a full marathon.

It was a personal goal until February when that changed when my nan passed away. She was a truly special person who brought so much love and laughter into all our lives and we miss her dearly. In her honour and memory I am raising money for Asthma + Lung UK, a charity that aided her. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated so hopefully others affected may also get the help she got.

I'm fundraising for Asthma + Lung UK. They’re the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
